2024 and I still think about these days

I really thought it was going to be decent but it’s literally below mid /: At first I noticed the reduced lag…but then at the end of the level everything fell apart. Guards firing through glass, framerate dropping when there’s more than 3 guards (goldeneye didn’t even have that problem) improper texturing. It’s sad really. This is supposed to be Nintendo quality but it’s crap and I hate to admit it. I actually thought the goldeneye Nso wasn’t too terrible despite its flaws. I can get over the input delay and the wonky sensitivity. But those framerate drops, visual glitches, and game glitches pretty much killed any excitement for me. And you know damn well they aren’t even going to update it. Plus there’s going to be a lot of people saying “ThIs wAs HoW iT wAs oN n64” no it wasn’t. I still play the n64 version. Sorry rant over, it’s just so sad /:

the people saying this is exactly the same as the N64 version are in severe denial, especially since you've been uploading footage FROM an original N64 and cartridge. That's before we get into things that are just wrong, like some of the weapon models

They also reduced the number of bots in the MP from 8 to 4. Like the XBLA Version. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Does it have to be a certain difficulty to unlock the cheats or is it just time based

I knew after the tragic goldeneye release on switch that perfect dark wouldn’t get any special treatment smh it’s damn sad at this point lol another cut and paste job no effort 😢😅😂

Yeah, this definitely is the N64 version. Still, better than nothing.

It’s strange to me that they’re already rebooting the franchise. It didn’t really go that far beyond the game that started it all and a prequel.

Aesthetically this game is amazing, very 2000's. I really didn't enjoy this game when it first came out however, it felt like such a downgrade compared to the original. In my opinion, looking back on it, I think it's safe to say this is an okay FPS game but a bad Perfect Dark game.

This is like the nightmares I had when I was a kid after playing goldeneye all day and couldn't escape it in my dreams

One other thing with Goldeneye 007 is when you use the shotgun with only 5 shells left it actually uses the shells that's on the shotgun.

the last time i got it to run at 60fps+, i couldn't even get past mission zero (the beginning part) on my pc - it crashes. playing in 60fps+ does make the looking/ads sensitivity much better than the original's frame rate (30fps), but still feel the same but well you know. hopefully the reboot would have a more modern 1st person's looking/ads sensitivity.

Using the sword was usually the fastest way too do the stealth on this mission
